My Family Culture

My Family Culture


Before when I was a kid I didn't know anything about my culture or what it even was. But now that I know my culture and what I do, I can write it all here. Our learning focus for Project Based Learning this term is about Cultural Stories.

Food
Roast Pork Or Lechon🍖
Spring Rolls🌺↷
Adobo Or Chicken🍗
Ube Or Purple Yam (Which I Actually Kind Of Find Weird Why It's A Yam) 🍠
Shakoy Or Twisted Donut🍩🐚
Pandesal Or Bread Roll🥖
Rice 🍚
Balut

Clothing 
Barong Tagalog Is The Traditional Dress For The Philippines
A Filipino Uniform Is Plaited With Red And Other Maroon 
Colours While The Primary Colour Is Green.
Another Traditional Dress Is A Filipiniana Dress Which Is White And A Mix Of Yellow Or Gold.


Religion
Most People (Especially In Cebu) Believe In A Little Baby Jesus Santo Nino De Cebu (San Toe Neen You De See Boo) Even Though It's Title Is Roman Catholic


Traditions Or Holidays
Lots Of Filipinos Like Christmas Because It Is Time To Give Thanks And Come Together. We Also Have Masses On Christmas.


Independence Day Is Also Celebrated With Families Bonding And Doing Activities.
